Is it possible to repair an iPhone screen yourself? We'll see how much technical knowledge you need to carry out an iPhone screen repair.

The most common problem iPhone users experience is a cracked screen. Given that iPhones are quite a delicate piece of technology and the fact that the touchscreen is made of glass, it is likely that if dropped, the iPhone screen will break. Then what do you do? Search eBay for a replacement screen. If you are looking for the iphone repairs in Sydney, you may visit http://www.iexperts.com.au/iphone-repairs-sydney/.

Replacement screens sold on eBay come with the necessary parts and tools for a successful screen replacement. However, how good are they?

Thanks to my extensive experience in repairing and replacing iPhone screens, I can say that the tools sold on eBay are practically useless. The tools required are a Phillips screwdriver, razor blade or other shoeing and scraping tool, tweezers, scissors, and double-sided tape or glue.

The first step is to turn off the phone and remove the SIM tray. Then, using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the 2 screws at the bottom of the iPhone. This will allow you to remove the back cover. Unscrew the battery connector that holds the battery in place and remove the connector and battery. The battery is stuck, so you need to pull hard.

It is very simple to connect the new iPhone screen as it is just a ribbon that connects to the motherboard. However, it is tough to put all the pieces back in their correct places and more importantly to put the screens back in the correct places as they are of different sizes.
